When to Replace Your Patio Door

Western Elements is always ready to meet your patio door replacement needs. Here are some signs that it may be time to get in touch with us and request a consultation:

  • Wear and tear - Worn weatherstripping, faulty frames, and damaged seals are just a few of the issues that can affect patio doors after many years of regular use. While all of these problems are considered normal for older doors, it’s still worth acting quickly to replace your door if you notice these signs.
  • High energy costs - Due to air escaping or entering your home, leaky patio doors can cause your HVAC system to work overtime, unfortunately leading to rising monthly energy bills.
  • Temperature fluctuations - Along with rising energy costs, those small drafts create an uncomfortable environment, causing the overall temperature of your home to feel inconsistent and hard to regulate. If you need to make many trips to the thermostat every day just to keep that room comfortable, it’s time for a change.
  • Water damage - If your door is allowing air to escape and enter, it's likely letting more than just air through. Water can seep in causing damage to your door and even potentially your home. And where there's water, mold can follow.

We had a really frustrating situation after another company completely messed up our deck, and these guys stepped in and fixed everything the right way. The difference in quality and attention to detail was night and day. They were honest, reliable, and actually cared about getting it done correctly. We’re so grateful we found them and would absolutely recommend them to anyone.

We had some exterior stairs replaced by Western Elements. Karen, Joe and Mason were such a pleasure to work with. They were very conscientious about the quality of their materials and labor. The outcome was beautiful and far better than we had hoped for. We highly recommend this great company!

Joe is amazing- He did a wonderful job building our deck. He was extremely communicative, the job was done quickly and most importantly, he treated us like family. Western Elements is a small business, and the finished product rivals the work of any larger construction company. I would recommend Western Elements to anyone looking to build a new, beautiful, safe deck.

Western Elements rebuilt a deck with roof addition for us. They were professional, communicative, and had great workmanship, always respectful of our property and us. They treated the project as equally important to themselves as it was to us. We are thrilled with our new deck, grateful to Joe and Mason for the fantastic workmanship, and grateful to Karen for her attention to the details in the documentation. We would highly recommend them to our friends and family and will hire them For future projects without hesitation.

Great service, great people and great price. I was lucky to find this family owned business in my pursue for a deck building company. Joe made us feel at ease about the process, assisted us in developing a concept and exceeded our expectation with the quality of the finished product. His sons -Mason and Logan- where pleasantly professional and masters of their craft. I strongly recommend them and will keep their business card for future projects.

Our backyard Trex deck was getting close to 30 years old, built with old materials and technology. We did some research and called Western Elements. This is primarily a family operation. Joe came out and we envisioned a replacement with his help. We were not in a huge hurry. We got on the schedule and soon enough, it was time. Joe, his son Mason, and sometimes another fully capable helper did every thing themselves. These guys are METICULOUS! We now have a new deck, new pergola, and covered patio that looks way beyond what we thought. We have not seen contractors as conscientious and dedicated as Western Elements. Extremely pleasant to work with. I really wish we had other projects for them to work on. There is a solid reason why they get 5 star reviews.
